Mr. Tampa’s passion for the hospitality business began as a general contractor on many hotel construction projects.  Through his many construction projects, Mr. Tampa gained valuable experience in all levels of hotel construction, gained insight into the hospitality business, and formed long lasting relationships with some of the best partners in the hospitality community Marriott International, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Hilton Hotels winning several awards and developer of the year for 2009. In 2020 he receives tourism Governor’s award for the state of Alabama .

John Tampa has over 24 years of experience in hospitality construction, development, and management.  Mr. Tampa’s vision, focus, and determination to succeed come from the discipline of being a former athlete.  He won several national championships, Balcanic and was a member of the Romanian Ski Biathlon/Cross Country Team for World, European competitions.
